Kenya’s Ministry of Health is developing a Kenya Health Observatory (KHO) to improve the availability and use of health information. The observatory is planned to be an open-access one-stop-shop for data and statistics, including research data, and will facilitate active tracking of the state and determinants of health in the country.

To help meet the Sustainable Development Goals, the first-ever 21st century, state-of-the-art, comprehensive CRVS eLearning course was launched on May 23, 2017. The development of the eLearning course was coordinated by the World Bank Group, with contributions from several HDC partners.
The Health Data Collaborative approach was presented at the UN World Data Forum to explore stronger linkages between the health sector and statistical communities in countries.
