Invitation to Kenya Health Information Systems Interoperability Framework (KHISIF) webinar

Assessing mortality data quality using ANACONDA during COVID-19.

This webinar aims to showcase examples of how national and international organisations are taking measures to protect individual data and privacy during the global COVID-19 crisis.

The Health Equity Assessment Toolkit HEAT and HEAT Plus are part of a larger collection of tools and resources that were developed to support countries in monitoring health inequalities and strengthening their health information systems.  Many countries have their own tools for measurement of health equity, however it has been noted that often countries lack capacity for analyzing, reporting and using inequality data.  As well as this there has been no systematic global tool to facilitate this process, hence the development of HEAT, containing WHO data.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, it has been more important than ever to have high quality data, especially data that helps countries understand the magnitude of the epidemic. In order to better support efforts addressing COVID-19, we launched the Data for Health – Data for COVID-19 Webinar Series. The goal of the series is to provide technical guidance on improving data in response COVID-19 by leveraging Data for Health work already underway.
